So...... the latest marketing add is out and they popped, sorry, hit it, oh nevermind....
"We've been waiting to hit 69 planes for years. It's our favorite number - ever since we were twelve and found that magazine under our brother's bed (the one with the fantastic articles). #69 is perfect: just the right size, with a cockpit that's in your face (because it's bright yellow). Use your mouth to spread the word: Spirit is in an even better position to get you where you're going. We're popping an epic Bare Fare in celebration! $69.00* round trip!"
Looks as if we fit right in, being we conducted 77's meeting at Bone Daddys today.
Oh the irony.....

7 overtime calls in last 48 hrs. 3 for the same las 4 day that I told them the first call that I live in florida.
CS is hiding trips, and removing them from open time before 12:00, two days prior.
Reserve call out is another frequent contract violation.
Your scheduling committee needs facts to fix these issues.
if I go on to flica then I can see the open time trips within two days. These all cant be trips that "just opened up" their has to be something going on. As far as the ads go when are we going to start acting like a mature airline and quit with these stupid immature ads. This one was particularly embarressing since my mother receives spirit email ads.

I am assuming either this trip is being hidden, or the FLICA alert is in error.
I got the same alert and when I logged in a few minutes later to look at it, the pairing was already gone. I just assumed someone was really fast and picked it up already.

Disclaimer: I am not accusing anything, just making an observation. Someone probably picked it up, but it would've had to have been the second it hit FLICA.

I have been at Spirit for 8 years and I can tell you the only thing consistent with Spirit, is that they get smarter in saving money in terms of payroll. I remember years ago getting a JRM 3 days in advance and each year the money making opportunities became less and less with the exception of few, aka Carparo and Haynes. The latest grievance filed just accelerated what was eventually gonna happen. No more dealing making and no more crazy credit months. The bigger Spirit gets the more investors want to know about "wages paid" and "expected wages paid". Also the chances of Spirit hiring more schedulers to accomodate pilots calling in to request trips inside of 48 hours wasn't ever gonna happen. The moral of the story is this: The bigger we get, the more we gotta adapt to change as long as our CBA is followed 100%.

Could be, but I had FLICA up on my iPad and received the email in my phone. I immediately refreshed when I received the email. Even taking into account the date of the flight (30-31 March) and hoping to derive a transition conflict, it's still a redeye and that particular flight is never an immediate pickup.
Not as likely as elert notification delay.
By the time a Flica Alert has reached your mobile device, either via email or text, the respective pairing(s) has likely been visible to other users for up to several minutes. Hitting refresh after receiving an alert is often too late compared to someone who was looking at it 2 minutes before.
In other words, it's lag time between the pairing being visible in the pot and alert received.
