Wrong, hes actually on the pilots side. Didn't you try to screw over the pinnacle/mesaba pilots during the SLI?

Screw the pilots? No, it was Pinnacle who proposed the "staple".

This. Huge missed opportunity. Was directly suggested to them. This lends itself to the idea that there is a bit of coziness there

How is Alpa not publicly refuting strike rumors a missed opportunity and an indicator of coziness with the company? The company already publicly shot down the rumors. The union could have come out pointing fingers, but what would that accomplish other than creating animosity between sides.

I second this. He is a good guy. Seggy maybe you shouldn't repeat things with no direct knowledge?

I agree! CR is a great guy, he's been nothing but pleasant, helpful and supportive since I've been at Spirit. If there's another side of him since he's become Chief Pilot, I haven't seen it.

He's a pilot's Chief Pilot if you ask me. So as someone with direct knowledge of him, I respectfully refute your claims and assertations Seggy.

So you are saying there is not already animosity between sides? Do you really think our good faith "helping" them will amount to anything meaningful in terms of substantive improvements for us?

Yes I really wish our union would have jumped at the opportunity to stand up for the pilots in the public media instead of letting the company stear the narrative.

Great news, switch monkeys: our CEO got a 119% raise to $6,167,068 last year.

"Spirit Airlines shareholders got a 66 percent total return last year while B. Ben Baldanza, president and CEO, collected a 119 percent raise in total compensation. Spirit shareholders cast say-on-pay votes at their annual meeting on June 16 in Rosemont, Illinois, and the release of results is still pending."

How much are we worth? Only 40% more for industry standard, surely we have earned that much for carrying this operation day after day when our CEO gets a 119% raise.

That's my feeling, ask for 40% and settle for 40% .
