But way to bash our FAA guys who have been nothing but awesome towards the pilot group. I hope you get to see that when you do your FAA observation.
Your right, I'm typically not that kind of person .Charlie is a nice guy and I know he is on our side but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with decision that were made.
Just not sure why each airline has its own set of rules that are directed by the POI guys.
In addition if they were or are so awesome please tell me why the new fueling procedures are in place? They are the ones that ultimately have the final say in how we do things right? I have been hearing for months now that we were going to change back to us not having to be on the plane.

The buck has to stop with someone when it comes to rule making why can't we just all have the same rules?

The fuel procedures, seat disaster and baggage load line were all our fault. Do not blame the FAA. Second, it was our old PMI (primary maintenance inspector) who was the pain in the a$$ behind that.

So along with those being Spirits fault so is the EFB thing. There are several ways to get them certified. Some airlines allow you to have them above 10,000 feet or as a reference as long as you have the paper out. Spirit applied for class B I believe. Which is where a test group gets them.

Oh, and I've had our FAA inflight inspector on several of my flights. She's a sweetheart too. She is working on getting the fuel thing fixed but as she put it spirit has no procedure for the FAs to self evacuate. It's apparently number 101 of 100 other things on managements list.

Quick application question. Has anyone not received the assessment after applying? I updated my application and it said I would receive the test within 24hrs. It's been 5 days and nothing.

I have checked my spam and everything else possible. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks !!

Wish I knew Charlie, or Joe, or whothefreakcares! If you know them, you're either a suckup, or you've been the "nail that stuck out". When neither the Feds nor mgt knows your name, you're having a successful career.

Such an ignorant statement. I will agree that he is a good dude. This love of the Ipad around here is making me sick, leave that $hi! in your bag until it's time to use it. And while you are at it, plug back in the Da%n aircraft headset when you are done with your bose regional style gear.

EFB validation guidance is public record in order 8900.1 and AC120-76C. It's an archaic process but the POI's aren't making this stuff up... and who cares how Delta complied? The mounts take maybe 60 seconds to figure out. Next complaint...

Lol, at the mount comment.. Someone can't figure those out and they're allowed to fly airplanes?
