Maybe, you shouldn't spread rumors when you can't even get what you should know right. Charlie isn't our POI. Not even our assistant POI. Yes, he is under Jim (our POI) but I think Charlie's title is fleet manager or something like that.
But way to bash our FAA guys who have been nothing but awesome towards the pilot group. I hope you get to see that when you do your FAA observation.

Just not sure why each airline has its own set of rules that are directed by the POI guys.
In addition if they were or are so awesome please tell me why the new fueling procedures are in place? They are the ones that ultimately have the final say in how we do things right? I have been hearing for months now that we were going to change back to us not having to be on the plane.
The buck has to stop with someone when it comes to rule making why can't we just all have the same rules?

Your right, I'm typically not that kind of person .Charlie is a nice guy and I know he is on our side but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with decision that were made.

Oh, and I've had our FAA inflight inspector on several of my flights. She's a sweetheart too. She is working on getting the fuel thing fixed but as she put it spirit has no procedure for the FAs to self evacuate. It's apparently number 101 of 100 other things on managements list.

Quick application question. Has anyone not received the assessment after applying? I updated my application and it said I would receive the test within 24hrs. It's been 5 days and nothing.

EFB validation guidance is public record in order 8900.1 and AC120-76C. It's an archaic process but the POI's aren't making this stuff up... and who cares how Delta complied? The mounts take maybe 60 seconds to figure out. Next complaint...
