Okay, I see your point now, no one but the pilot at the controls of the aircraft should have KCM.
I disagree, but I see your point.

The FA's should 100% be KCM! Add the ground crews too. They have access to the plane. Check their back grounds!!
Just a question about one of our pilots. So I was deadheading on one of our flights, we all boarded (full flight), sat at the Emerg exit, but the front crew wasn't there, eventually they made it in, did their stuff, door closed, CA came out, grabbed the Phone and started his PA, lots of info, keep in mind it was hot, pushing close to 20 min late, etc. What caught EVERYONE by surprise was his explanation on how to close the foward lavatory door, " -DONT SLAM THE DOOR, IT BOTHERS ME WHEN IM RELAXING-" then proceeded to the lavatory door and showed everyone what he meant, "slam the door, closed it softly, slam, soft, slam, soft".....after that, some other weird remarks... Drops the phone (my add) and walks away with 145 open mouths.
Has anyone experienced this?
To his credit, the one thing that bothers everyone, generalizing here, is the AM visit to the lavatory after the coffee and the banana that people do.

A certain pilot from Trinidad? Ya I know him. Good guy but I don't have the heart to tell him how cheesy his whole schtick is.

Not screening ANYONE that doesn't already control the aircraft is a security risk. This should be plainly obvious to the most casual observer. Couple the control issue with ZERO barrier to entry and you have a recipe for disaster. I'm not saying other FA's should have it, but ours shouldn't. You said it's a good thing ours are getting it, I said something like another win for aviation security.
Have there been any problems with the thousands of FA's at other airlines already participating in the program?

Geez, plus it's awesome to stand behind them waiting while they dig through 5 bags and additional cat memorabilia they got at the Mall of America trying to find their driver license or passport.

I don't know where he's from, he did have an accent, came across as a little angry, but it was something different nonetheless. Remind me of Bill Murray and the squirrel "don't drive angry" scene.

Hey Secret Squirrel, next time feel free to ignore questions you don't want to answer. If not for people posting questions here, a lot of subjects would go unnoticed by the majority. Are you concerned the company will find out what they themselves are negotiating? Or is it the free discussion of ideas that bothers you?
And I answered the question with a one word answer. The answer is "No."

Nope, don't think so. And no one used airplanes as weapons of mass destruction until the first time.
IMO all FA of all airlines should have to go thru security. ISIS terrorist come in all colors. Their not going to go train pilots to sneak them in a airliner. Train a pilot, they can buy their own damn plane and do it.
Take some 19 year old girl/guy that can be brainwashed, convince them to become a FA. Now their in!
