135 hours pay credit/ 38 hours block/ 23 days off for December via help from transition conflicts (no vacation days). Show me that you can do this at Delta and I will consider applying.

Glad some are able to work the system to their advantage......because I've never credited more than 90 hours in a single month. These magic credit months are few and far between.

Never credited more than 90? My awarded credit for Jan. is 87. Wouldn't be very difficult to break 90. Do you always bid for the least amount of credit?

My awarded credit for the past few months has been right around 72-74. Yes, those are lines of flying, not reserve. They've been pathetic and completely unproductive lines, sadly. But, that's what's been out there. Yeah, there are a couple lines that credit somewhere in the 80's, but unless you're the top few, that's not happening. I should just bid reserve, the end result is nearly the same for much less effort. The ONLY reason I don't, is to earn the per diem. There's no real reason otherwise.....after all, it's not like there's much flexibility to trade/ drop/ swap being a line holder with 95-100% red days following the close of initial open time.

It can be done at Delta. One green slip with conflict and you're good. Several years ago we had a 747 CA credit 200+ hours in one month.

I've got my app in at Delta, got 3 internal recs there, but I still feel there's better growth potential at Spirit.

Thoughts?
Been here over 10 years. Not gonna start over.

Default Motel 6 DFW info

I was J/S'ing on a Spirit flight the other day and one of the F/A's was chatting about a great rate at a DFW motel 6 that also has a 24 shuttle. I didn't think much of it as I don't travel through DFW much anymore....but now here it is Christmas night and I may well be stranded here and wish I had paid attention when she talked about the Motel 6 deal.

Anyone know which Motel 6 it was by chance? Or any other descent motel hookup with shuttle service in the area?

I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, right near DFW when I was there for my 737 type. Great hotel, lots of aircrew and seemed pretty inexpensive to me.
Merry Christmas!

I always stayed at the Red Roof Inn near DFW. Always lots of crews on the shuttle doing the same thing. Nothing fancy but nothing expensive either. They have a shuttle.
