Anybody that has submitted a new application with the website changed heard anything? I just checked the status of my app on website and it says not reviewed yet.

18% growth in 2014
30% growth in 2015

Those trying to get onboard , this 2014 and 2015 are the years to get on. We have very little retirements going on, so movement will probably stagnate by mid 2016, just my guess. Unless there are more orders planed.

Looking at the info on Spirit's website they show a planned fleet of 65 airplanes by the end of 2014, 80 airplanes at the end of 2015 and slowly increasing to 143 airplanes by the end of 2021. I've read articles that have said anywhere from 160-175 airplanes by 2021 as well so who knows.

At any rate there is still some growth to come by the looks of it. I'm not sure if things have changed but it sounds like the place will continue to grow for a few more years which is good news for those of us trying to get on!

That's what I meant, sorry. Was directed mainly to the pilots chasing a quick upgrade.

Never mind that, if I just don't get furloughed, just THAT would be a start.

This business taught me to plan only for the absolute worst, that way anything even marginally better is a huge, pleasant surprise.
