It appears if we vote no well just have to go to the crew rooms to do it.........that's basically it. distance learning is coming regardless of the vote.

(This is how I interpret it)

Whoever screamed "oh my god" over the potable water needs a case of beer. That was awesome, lol

Yeah, someone asked "what will happen if we vote the LOA down"

Bendo answered that basically they still move ahead as planned and pilots will have to come into a classroom in base and work on their iPads in the classroom.

Also no base openings or closings in 2015 but things will be "reanalyzed" for 2016.

Furthermore, he added that all ground school is going to be in base, which has been the plan anyway. So, no more training conflicts. No more going to FLL for 5 days. He pretty much stated if we vote it down we will be coming in to do it where and when they tell us. Or, vote yes and complete training at the time and place of our choosing.

I see no reason to think they won't follow through, so the question now is, can we vote no and get another LOA restoring days off?

Then let distance learning come either way. They want the increased productivity and they will pay more to get it. Sitting in the crew room on an IPad is fear mongering and does not give management the added days of revenue producing productivity they desire. It still wastes work days. Agreeing to this LOA and thereby 'taking home' this work is their goal.

Our management will not give us a cent unless their collective backs are against the wall. Guess what, they signed this LOA because they are getting the better end of the bargain.

That's why I don't bother to listen to the calls. Always someone asking about airplane cleaning, etc.

I couldn't believe he asked that. Then I thought, well maybe he was just asking such a question to try to be funny? If not, I'm sure he is a bundle of joy to fly with lol!
