Spirit of NKS, Part II

I heard they're trying to defer 2017 320ceo orders. There will still be growth and significant capacity increases due to 321 deliveries. The board wasn't happy with the increase in operational snafus and overall reliability issues and wants to temper growth the next few years to focus on these issues. Be wasn't on board with it.
Why doesn't everyone calm down. Rumors are just that and until something happens, which you will have no control over anyway, why not just relax. This is nothing new here. If you've been here 2 years or more you see the turn over we have. CEO's, COO's, numerous DO's, CP's, Director's of Training, and the list goes on.
I can't wait for something to happen in 2-3 years and someone on here will stand up and yell "I told you so!"

What he said! Typical management playbook. They will drag this contract out as long as they can until they can codeshare or buy Frontier. Maybe even create a holding company for the two companies and operate them separately while they whipsaw the two groups against one another. I wouldn't put anything past them.
I thought the 319's were going away this year? Wouldn't that be a reduction of aircraft with only 13 new aircraft scheduled to be delivered?
Ben had been out pumping this place the last few months. Doing interviews and appearing on Mad Money trying to stop the slide in the valuations of SAVE. Just from my personal observations, Ben was steadfast in organic growth. The board may have disagreed with this and after the pumbling Spirit has taken from the legacies, maybe the board decided to go in a different direction. It would be interesting to know how many of the sitting board members where here when Indigo was in charge. Also, do any sit on Frontier's board also?

I'm trying to go back and see if there was any indication this was coming. Seems very, very sudden, the selling of the house notwithstanding. Everything I can find, from statements to interviews seem to indicate BBB thought he was going to be here for a long time.
I'm sure speculation and rumor will be now running riot. The AFA/CWA has already released a statement, it's how I found out about the news. Haven't heard from ALPA or SPA MEC yet.
On the bright side, $SAVE up over $2.50 a share so it seems Wall Street likes the change.

Dec 2014 to Nov 2015 the stock went 80ish down to mid 30ish. Wipe out more than half the wealth of the company and you don't think that's a just cause for a forced change up top? It's only surprising that heads didn't roll sooner. I wrote about it in Oct and luckily didn't do too bad on the stock:
One thing to remember is, it wasn't Baldanza's performance or the performance of the company that caused the drop in share price, it was the adjustment to future margins forecast, both RASM and PRASM forecasts due to increased capacity (caused by growth, something analysts just couldn't wrap their head around when they compared growth and increased capacity to established airlines) and the announced response by American Airlines to compete for leisure travelers.
All of that is evident by the rebound the stock did immediately upon the news of a change in CEO. I think further increase in the share price will be due to M&A speculation.
