We don't know yet. They just lowered the mins to 2000 and 1000 multi. That is a significant departure from the old mins. Based on what I've seen if you know some people that are in good graces with S.F. or M.Oc. and will give you a rec, you go to a job fair and impress, then you probably have a good shot. Wouldn't surprise me if we see a lot of 2000 hr guys/gals around here going forward. That would definitely slow attrition. Good luck!

I'm
The first and easiest step to improving the customer experience would be sending the pilots a contract that is worthy of being ratified. At that point many of us will go back to propping up their operational failures which contribute to our horrible reliability.
To be clear I do everything in my job description as a professional to operate the flight as safely as possible. What I don't do is all the stuff outside of my job description to make up for inadequacies elsewhere.

Quite honestly, who gives a flying fukc?
Keep your head in the game boys. We shouldn't care if we fly to LAX, ORD, ATL, or BNA, FAR, and BFE.
The plane goes wherever they want it to go and we are going to fly it there. We need to focus on how to make as much as we possibly can providing that service. We also need to make sure it's us providing the service and not code shared on say frontier or Allegiant. That's SCOPE for those not from a previous airline.
The company is going to do whatever they need to do to make as much money as possible and we need to do the same. Who cares to speculate about route structure. Big picture guys!!
