gonyon, not sure what you mean call to list as nonrev on Southwest. You are either a pilot jumpseater or a ZED nonrev. If you have a ZED then you already get a SW non rev listing with it. As a pilot jumpseater I believe it used to be you could call SW and create a jumpseat listing on the phone and they would give you a 6 digit confirm code. But I do believe now one has to go to the desk/gate and ask to jumpseat.

I think this is the 4th or 5th month there are redeye plus 1 pairings out of FLL. How is this still happening? My rep seems unconcerned. It's frustrating.

If you have any problem with a jumpseat at any time, email the jumpseat committee. I landed at midnight last night and would have gotten back to you immediately.

Yes, let's let them violate the CBA more and allow relief! I hear our new MEC chair is going to demand all JAs over the 5 allowed given out to be paid immediately to the flight pay loss bank.
How about we worry about non contract compliance issues that affect the whole pilot group, demand a cease and desist. If we all said no and stopped going above and beyond I think things will work out in our favor.. But it's useless, I still hear pilots asking for fuel/paperwork on ops, first leg of the day..
