Does anyone know how long the initial fleet training timeline is for each fleet (320/737/756/777/787) post Indoc and IFT? I was wondering how long the current wait is between IFT and starting sims and also how long the actual training footprint is for each type. Thanks!

5-6 weeks is the average qual course length. Wait from Indoc to sims varies by fleet…

There's not much of a break. In Dec, sim start time varied from 2 days to 2 weeks for 737/320/777. A buddy was awarded 757 on this last vacancy and had the remainder of his initial 737 training cancelled and given a 757 start date 12 days later.

I would have bet the value of my 401K that the time to hold a line would have been measured in years, but the movement we have currently continues to blow all the convential wisdom we collectively have right out of the water.

I imagine it won't be long till we see similar progression in SFO as we are sending more and more niw hires there and continue to have more unfilled assignements.

how many days off are those 777 pilots getting ??
how are their trips constructed transcon/ domestic?

Most junior EWR 777 FO lines are showing 21 days off.

Wow! is that a typical 777 line? Coming from a regional that seems insane lol.

Default 756 IAH

What's the 756 flying like out of IAH. If a newbie can get it should he/she take it over the Bus or 37 living in base?

I'd 100% take the 737 in IAH right now. Looks like the company is growing that quite a bit. 757 is fairly small and senior. Look (to me) like pretty meh trips, too.
