That’s exactly what the MEC’s job was. This should have never made it past the MEC.

It’s a kown fact that the majority of LOA’s pass MR. DAL 2015 and very rare occurrence.

So then all we need is an MR that bars them from receiving FPL for five years. So yes, it can be done.

I’m really interested in this claim. In my experience direction given to the negotiating committee is given in closed session and off the record. Has this changed, if not, what is this claim based on?

There’s ample reason to recall the NC and MEC, but don’t make $hit up.

Default MEC MIke H

Fire this prick and elect someone with the experience, intelligence and grass roots understanding to represent us. In other words, let’s elect a pilot who remembers what it means to be a fkg pilot.

As you may have seen, American Airlines management has presented their pilots with a substandard proposal heavily based on our own substandard proposal, but with improvements over our own TA.

In light of this development, the entire MEC unanimously agreed to suspend all town hall presentations and P2P activities. A Special MEC Meeting has been scheduled for July 6th and 7th to evaluate this change in circumstance.

Your council officers have heard a resounding message from our pilots expressing no appetite for the negotiating committee to be in a position to negotiate on behalf of United pilots. We thank our negotiating committee for the time they have spent, however as they have stated, they have pushed the company as far as they can. We agree with your demand for a new negotiating committee; one that is composed of pilots with real & recent line experience, accountable to an MEC that is in tune with the membership.

It is vital that your voice be heard, and this may be a unique opportunity for us all to send a strong, unified message to the company. Your unified voice can make a difference!

Voting on the TA remains open. Please continue to vote and encourage others to do the same. As you know, we are opposed to the TA for the reasons described in the CON letter and many other reasons you have brought to our attention. This is the time for the unity and power of our membership to send a resounding message to the company - we will not settle for a bad contract with concessions.

Council 12 has historically had a very high participation rate when it comes to voting. We also have a rich history of recognizing a bad deal and we are asking that your vote reflect that accordingly. If you have delayed your vote, or would like to change your vote, now is the time to cast your ballot.

Thank you for your strength, your support and your diligence. In the end, it will be your union vote that decides your future.

Use it now and please VOTE!
I would be happy to sit on the negotiating committee for TA2. Time to get somebody on there that's not afraid to look management in the eye and tell them how its going to be. I'm that guy. No excuse , no BS , no negotiating from fear but strength. Enough is enough. When this POS goes down I'll throw my hat in, and they can keep the Tumi bag. If anyone agrees with my approach let me know. Warning I'm a Dubinsky fan.

I heard about the part where the NC refused to submit what they had and Hamilton/NC supposedly forced them to re-engage. But why insist on submitting a concessionary agreement? I’m guessing Insler promised Kirby they’d get it done BEFORE record Q2 results were announced and Hamilton played along.

Who knows how it really went down? Ultimately, Hamilton presented us with Insler’s product, so he’ll be the patsy.
This has Hamilton's signature on it so he's the guy that needs to go in my opinion. And if DePete puts his signature on it he needs to go as well.

You just keep getting more and more certifiable. Dubinsky fan. Oh boy. Made millions off his own wife’s death. Now there is a winner of a human. We get it, you need a pension because you have made horrendous choices with your personal finances. You claimed before you’d “be retired already but…”
We don’t need the “wisdom” of a grifter like Dubinsky who cashed in on a dead wife and then sued the union in a scam. The crazy fringe on here is beginning to sound as pathetic as our current brain trust in the MEC and NC. Please. Just let the adults talk. You sound pathetic.

If you want to represent pilots, may I suggest you put a name on your post so that members of various councils can nominate you. Otherwise, **** internet tough guy.

Thanks for the good laugh! So, tough guy, what are you going to do when the company looks you in the eye and tells you to f*ck off?
