Reading 72 pages of all the eligibility and format pages of the association for the average line pilot can get confusing. Us Arkansans aren’t the sharpest I’ll admit. 😄
Never mind. Someone beat me to it.

OK that explains the size of the BOD. I have to admit I had it backwards. Thinking we as pilots elect council reps then they choose MEC Leadership and I wrongly thought then the MC from each MEC made up the BOD. I’m sure I knew that at some point but for whatever reason got it in my head each MEC sent their MC to the BOD. My bad and thank you.

Not going to speculate on the details of that era but there is some irony that bankruptcy is a point in time when pilots have minimum leverage in the paradigm of negotiations …
And arguably we now have maximum leverage ..

I know there are calls to clean house but look at the con letter and note the small group of reps that tried to protect us from this TA. Then point out who on that list is going to move us forward when we vote this thing down.

I wouldn’t worry about TI. He’s well known on the national level for being a huge doosh (sic). This TA being his lasting legacy will be the end of him for a national spot. Although he seems pretty dense so I’ll bet he tries.

And as for Insler, no man in my career have I seen so blatantly think only he can do it than this guy. Listens to no one. Will tell you how it’s gonna be. And you are either with him or you’re history. Puts moles on the forums and gets his guards moderating forums to squelch any dissection against him. He is about 1 voice in the union. HIS!! All others are not worthy.
Sounds like a bit of a boy crush!! Haters gotta hate. I'm one of the thousands of pilots that disagree with you.

Insler is toast. He is the biggest joke in the history of ALPA.

And that is saying a lot.
