Just "keeping it real"

Sled,

Their firm orders count, ours don't.

Everything they did in the past is relevant, everything UAL did isn't.

Their time on furlough doesn't count against them. Ours does.

They get to pick the snapshot date for them that's best and the worst one for us.

They only point out the outliers in their stats, and only the ones that benefit them.

They get their hire date flying a 19 seat airplane as long as they saw the word Continental when they were flying.

A jet is a jet and a 747 is just like a guppy.

Captains should be merged with Captains! Of course they merged our junior Airbus Captain with their 737 FOs on their proposal

Let's hope the arbitrators can see through their nonsense.

Ha, ALPA wanted us badly, they courted us non stop because we were a profitable, growing airline, thousands of us had come from other ALPA carriers prior to CAL and wanted to be back in ALPA to reap the benefits of being part of an national union vs a small in house union. ALPA has more strength in numbers, maybe your narrow mind can't wrap around that fact but here we are, a lot of us have 10, 15 plus years in good standing with ALPA. Another shocker United is now a combo of UAL and CAL, management, pilots, FAs etc. live with it, make it a great company, your livelihood depends on it.

ALPA wanted 2 things from the cal pilots, dues money and keep cal from acting like an RJ outfit. Otherwise they would have let cal die in the slow death spiral it was in. Make no mistake in thinking cal is/was the prize - it was a tool used by the bankers to extract more money out of UAL. What you need to live with is the cal way is dying and will be replaced with the UAL way.

Close. It was a tool used by Wall Street to extract more money from creditors for LUAL.

What wins prizes, paragraphs of lies and half truths? Hatred of other pilots just because they were hired by a different company then you? Stirring the pot to make employees you will work with the rest of your career ****ed off??? Okay you win the prize. I don't. I get along, move forward make new friends and adapt. BTW what's the "united way". I thought it was a fundraising charity.

Read before you respond that's the "UAL way". I bet you'd work for free just to wear the uniform. That's ok we need people for Jeff's photo ops. "Lies and half truths" why don't you break it down to specifics if you find that to be true. Better yet why not ask your LEC reps why they let pierce create the environment that breeds the mistrust of everything coming from the cal side.

Isn't it time to give up? Pierce does what he does in support of who he represents, the CAL pilots. Hepner does what he does in support of his UAL group. It's just business, and one side had some perceived leverage, and supposedly used it! Walking around and carrying this ill and hatred takes so much energy, and makes a miserable QOL!!!
