Did anybody take the Hogan this week and hear anything back? I got the welcome to the process email on 7 April and the link for Hogan on 8 April, which I took the test the same day.

Finished IOE on the 73 a couple of days ago. This airline flying is more fun than I thought it would be! PM if you want a 737 study plan for the break between BI and airplane training.

Congrats to all of the new hires, and good luck to anyone with their hat in the ring! The hard work is definitely worth it!

First time caller... long time lurker.

Welcome email - Apr 8th
Hogan test info email - Apr 8th
Hogan test complete - Apr 9th
Called up for interview - Apr 10th
Interview date options - Apr 24th (I think) or May 1st (I chose May 1st for more prep time)

28 years in the military
somewhere around 4000-5000 hours, all multi engine heavy jet
Instructor / Evaluator / Chief of Safety

Unbelievably happy (and grateful) for the opportunity to interview.

I'm very new to the process and would be sincerely grateful for any advice or pointers. Thank goodness for resources such as this. I'll do the same as I learn more.

Any suggested study material or prep? I've heard "Ace the Technical Pilot Interview" (maybe old info?), "Checklist for Success"... anything else?

Congratulations! My completely unqualified opinion is that you should call Emerald Coast Interview Consulting and get scheduled for a seminar ASAP.

It is a very HR focused interview. I would also recommend a professional prep service. They will help you pick and polish your TMAATS (tell me about a time). The sim is very straight forward, but man the prep helps a lot. PM me with any questions or for other contact info 👍

Flight training international for the sim and Cage consulting for the i-view prep. Emerald Coast does a fine job (I worked with them once before) but Cage is geared towards UA and knows them well. One reason I succeeded is thx to Cage.

If you do nothing else do the Sim prep. I couldn't imagine walking into that cold.
