Just another example of the poorly informed. Those who exaggerate or just make stuff up. I made 26k last year in profit sharing, my friends at DAL made high 30’s to low 40’s. That’s 10-15 thousand, not 60-80k.

Every company has advantages. AS has always been a company made up of a majority of non-commuters. Would it then shock you that we have a contract that has very little for commuters? Delta is awesome, but everyone of my friends over there would love to have my A-plan, even give up their extra 10k in profit sharing. Do the math on 30 years multiplied by 1.9 plus another 10 years plus 7% a year. It’s a really big number. I am tired of hearing how much Boeing guys suck, how little our balls are, our contract was written for our life style. Would I like some changes, yes. But right now how L-VX pilots run their mouths dogging me and my family members, I don’t want to go a foot out of my way to help you guys. Learn respect, how to treat and talk to other human beings and you may find them more sympathetic to your cause.

Or maybe it could depend on who you speak with?
Either way, have a good one...

Yeah I am sure they are lying.... right. No you are making stuff up or regurgitating what you heard about “one guy” at delta and decided to make it everyone. 2 Captains Sea 737 one 320 CA SLC. Real pilots, flying real lines, collecting real bonuses!

What was the average in SEA for AS last month? Like 14.34 days and 85.02 hours of credit. So at 78 hours our average day off would be 15.8? Better right? Or for those bad at math that would be 81.44 credit for an average of 15 days off at Alaska. Yup, it looks like Delta is a super regional too.
Sorry, but why? Because I tell you all facts and you make up **** based on anger hate and bias. Then you trash me, my family, and my friends that I fly with.

We have the worst contract, scheduling, and scope in the industry when comparing major airlines. Prove me wrong.
Anyone considering coming here should view it as getting called up from the minor leagues to a minor league team with higher pay. Keep swinging for the majors if you come here. This plaice is a terrible place to work until our pilot group, namely the Seattle based Boeing pilots, wake up and stop accepting being the victim.

No, this is not a terrible place to work. I should be POed the most in this group being former NYC based. Instead, I’ll say that it’s downright embarrassing to see the comments and attacks on fellow Boeing AS pilots. I’m not happy with the base closure and subsequent move of 2,700 miles. Let’s be honest though, most of the anger in this thread has been the loss of PBS and cutover to JCTE for a contract that is predominantly written for a pilot group that lives in base. Yes it needs improvements, we need scope, section 25 rewrite, etc. But no, this is not a terrible place to work. I like the job, the people I work with, and I enjoy working here.

4 classes in March and 1 in april finishes the 144 newhire requirement. Inteviewing and hiring should continue for after Summer, the application window will probably open up again in the Summer. I don’t think there’s an official number announced yet for the newhire #s for the Fall.
