I had three pairings I've bid for in the last two months that ended up in open time. One reason they weren't awarded was because of "seniority," the was "proper rest." Both cases were BS, fortunately I was able to swap them out, again I bid pretty senior and the seniority one? no one was awarded it at all.
My mid month paycheck is consistently short by 25-200 bucks also.
Also, in this latest vacancy award I noticed that there were some people off the equipment lock that weren't allowed to switch airframes. Specifically FOs that wanted to switch MD80 to AB or 757. All the spots went to NHs.

Sure! On the most recent award I was awarded my last choice of 13 while over 10 guys almost 2 years junior to me were awarded seats and equipment I had bid. Now I am being told I am being held to an equipment lock (that my class was told didn't exist) of just shy of three years in a plane that I did NOT bid for but was assigned. So now guys who have been here less than a year are upgrading in to those same positions I was denied. It gets better. If I accept the upgrade, the equipment lock clock starts over at two years. If I withdraw my bid I have to have a meeting with the flight standards review board, made up people who are not career friendly, who then decides what to do with me. ahhhhh, life without a contract.

But dude it’s better than my regional… We need to make sure we get a good showing for our unions informational picketing this coming Tuesday, July 28th. G4 management will send out an email by monday stating that the teamsters are scheduling a picketing event, that will be attended by ‘some’ or a ‘few’ pilots. Their hope is that indeed it would be attended by as few as possible, thereby pronouncing another victory for their anti pilot/union agenda.
The picketing will begin at 10:00am. And will be at the g4 h.q. 1201 N. Town Center Dr las vegas. All are welcome, to show support. There is plenty of parking on the southeast corner of N Town Center DR and Covington Cross DR. On that corner where the burger king is we can park in their lot and assemble like last winter. There’s a 7eleven and burger king for restroom breaks. It’s actually a perfect location for picketing. The headquarters faces the public sidewalk with a multi-story all glass one way window. This last winter when we marched management was hiding behind the glass peeing their panties at the sight of us, from what I hear.
There will probably be media like last time as well. Good time to remind everyone the stock price doesn’t reflect what is actually going on at g4.

And remember, ANY AND ALL pilots are welcome, not just Allegiant pilots. Please come out and support our cause. This isn't just an Allegiant battle, it's a battle for all airline pilots. If you live in LAS, are in LAS for a layover, or based here please feel welcome to join us.

I read about the meet and greet they were going to have at Ohare last week.I was heading to the train and passing the Hilton and remembered the event so I went on up. I thought there might be some old friends from my former job there looking for a job. I pictured a large room full of people standing around in their blue suits and red ties but there was nobody there but the 3 guys to conduct the interviews. I told them I was expecting a large room full of people and they told me they had had 21 people or some such number.
I wasn't expecting to interview but they invited me in and asked if I had a resume. I didn't but was able to email them one. They told me about Allegiant which I knew nothing about and about how unique their schedules were and if you didn't live in base you would probably not be too happy.
I talked with them for about an hour and nobody else came up to the room. They did say they would send me an email. I never heard a thing. Did anyone else go last week and did anyone hear anything?
They did not mention a thing about their problems with the union. I didn't expect them to be interested in me because of my union activities but I did expect an email. Not a lot of class if they don't even send out a no thank you email.

The share price is most likely being pumped in advance of next weeks quarterly earnings report.

Here's something for you to consider:
They fired the PIE Captain that had the evacuation back in June. After nearly two months of telling him nothing, they called and fired him over the phone today.
The system CP and HR simply told him that since the NTSB is now calling this an accident, the company basically feels it's best to terminate employment. Mind you, Crash/Fire/Rescue told the crew there was smoke coming from the airplane, which prompted the evacuation, but hey... I'm sure it was the summer heat and demanding schedule, right?
You like apples? How ya' like them apples?
