I didn't blame the APA for being hoodwinked. They didn't seem to be manipulating things to get their own way. They just got burned for trusting Parker. Their judgement may have been clouded by their displeasure with Horton, but they didn't get any help from USAPA subversives.

I could never accept an appointment to be the ballot certification chairman for a recall election in which I collected money to protect the one appointing me, who was at the same time the target of the recall. Maybe you would't see a problem with that if a majority of the membership was ignorant or apathetic to it.

Capt R57, I think we will see G. H. in the 330 training department or in the chief pilots office, like most of the others from ALPA/USAPA. THEY most likely will never have to work under the reserve system or any of the other pieces they have negotiated. Most likely will continue to be paid by the company. With the 8x10 glossy brochure that was handed out by usapa in favor of the MOU knowing Mr. Parker, there is no excuse. I don't remember seeing you at any of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS meeting or have I? I think we all are getting CATFISH'ED sometimes on these forums. Now all of the usapa committee chairman are pointing fingers on how we got to this place! We are all asking that question, even after the 3% fiasco. If he doesn't get his medical back maybe just the chief pilot job . Happy holidays to you and your family in TRI. Best of luck to all of us.

I don't have any family in TRI. I have never been to a BPR meeting, but quite a few base meetings. I try to stay informed and communicate with my reps.

Did Gary give us our current reserve system? I seem to remember it being largely a product of LOA 93, with a lot of time spent on it and other scheduling provisions by hard working volunteers from the USAPA scheduling committee. Are you demeaning their work?

Maybe Gary will go sell Airbus products like one of our former MEC chairmen, who knows? Maybe Gary should have stepped down, but I think the medical issue was a red herring for guys that had a hard on for him. I heard the same things from several F/Os about Gary, none of which have come true.


My point is, that's done. Why bring it up now? Gary has nothing to do with the APA, does he?

Why don't you PM me you name and number and we can talk about it.

You seem a bit overly defense about a small reference that was brought up in passing only to remind us that we need to have integrity in our BOD, and thankfully so far I don't see any real issue, but everyone is open to temptations, as we have seen in the past.

I would not blame the reps for any of the sh!tty deals the company has given us, unless they claim to have worked with the company to get it past other reps.

I am not mad at all, just glad as hell I could put a name to your posts. Now if you go over there and read carefully you will notice that you have zero traction among APA pilots. The only violation and there really is not one written on the subject of posting a persons name its posting private information as it pertains to work product. Now this is really for the web master from the hosting company to keep them from being sued. APC makes it up as they go along but I read the rules fwd and backward.

This is not an attack on you and your beliefs, this is my opinion. I would not go and fly 292 pax with the medical issues that our president has, much less try to orchestrate the worlds largest merger, and feel like I gave 100% to the pilots. I can give you many examples of G H unable to be there. Just my opinion and after 35 years I feel I am entitled to one. I also respect yours. Safe flying my friend.
