Management indicated on investor call today that counter proposal will be presented to APA on Nov 11/12, right after FA vote in their TA.

We'd be better off just taking pay parity in 2016 rather give up scope IMO. The rates will be close or better then Delta(current book) with pay parity 2016 and we keep our scope. We'll probably have those rates for a long time (maybe 5 yrs..?) but we'll never get scope back.

Now that Jerry Glass is on the company's side I'm sure negotiations will be a breeze

Hahaha. Not a good sign.

My only hope is that all of this posturing is just a tactic to get the pilot group to collectively sigh and readily accept a marginally acceptable proposal at the last minute.

But yeah. I sure haven't been hearing much good news about this.

I agree. It would be icing on the cake if Delta got a new contract by Jan 1, 2016.

I think the only thing that could make the SLI not bloodshed is an industry leading contract. Here's to hoping...

He's the guy that started the domino effect on pilot pensions. Hell of a union buster.
