Oh, BTW, the union has been busted since deregulation. Folks, the only influence anyone is affected by is the rank and file union who believe the APA has YOURE back. The union serves at the convenience of the company and the company knows it's. I don't represent management, I represent REALITY.
I'm not new to this forum, I just decided to jump in after all these years to give you pilots a reality check. Scope is done and if you disagree that's great. However, the guys at Envoy are chumps for taking one for the gipper (ALPA/APA). Do you think you'll get a reward job at Herndon or Dallas for standing up and saying no to the ones who have the leverage? You just may REREAD flying the line vol. I & II. Maybe you can't read.

This is pure comedy gold. Too rich to pass up.
Really? We (us pilots) can't read?
If you're going to insult our ability to read and our education level, you may not want to come off as a grammar moron. Here's a thought...why don't you go improve your education and let us pilots suffer through our contract on our own. Buh-bye now...
EF,
I think you're wrong on this one. Management lackeys are educated. My guess is...this is a flight attendant. Probably bitter about their JCBA election results.

Not a surprising statement coming from someone who isn't a pilot.
***WARNING***
Folks, beware what has now started to occur - certain representatives of managements interests have begun to position themselves on this forum to influence AA pilots on a potential upcoming TA vote (should it come to that). Union busting and pilot manipulation tactics are part of the strategy.

Some numbers, pulled from memory from 1:00 AM last night...
The vast majority of L-US FA's voted, however 851 were ineligible most likely because they didn't even sign the AFPA paperwork.
3800 L-US voted YES
2800 L-US voted NO
57% YES
Can't remember the L-AA side numbers exactly, but roughly 1,000 voted NO more than voted YES.
Roughly 10,000 of the 14,000 L-AA side even bothered to vote (70%).
CLT and MIA were strong NOs
We had a NO voter with us, he voted NO just to show the company he wasn't completely happy with it, even though he thought it would pass and fully expected it to.

Management would love to see us throw out the baby with the bath water. The rancor among the East/West was a major component to Parker's management style at US. Now Parker has to negotiate with a much more unified group. Folks like you can try to stir the pot but it isn't going to work. Most of us bargained with the Devil or God- if we ever got out of this seniority corner we would not make the same mistakes. Parker has to grow up too and understand that, at least for now, it's a different environment for commercial pilots. This union- whatever it is or is not- is our only hope.

Well this isn't Parker/Kirby/Glass first rodeo. It's going to take professionals on par with them to win not a bunch of wishful thinking pilots who demand results yesterday. And have not the patience to see things though - generally, I might add
