Amen. They're ready for the long game. How patient are we? I'll wait. Will we all?

I think we'd all like immediate raises. But I'm personally prepared to stick to the MOU pay rates. The delayed compensation will be offset by (hopefully) higher DAL rates in 2016.

Patience is easy. All you have to do is say "If you need an answer now, it is NO." For this offer it is Nuck Fo. See you in 2016.

^^^^ this . These rates are insulting even if the other items were not up for discussion. Doug and Co aren't giving Delta + out of their hearts..they are doing it because they know if agreed to that they would be at a huge cost advantage very soon as the other legacies bump their contracts.

"He who has the gold makes the rules".

Gold is gold. You can shape it, but its still gold.

Pilots are everywhere. They don't look alike, they don't ACT alike, their MOTIVATION for things are generally NOT in the best interests of the GROUP.

You really don't need to their combination to overcome the pilots. They only have themselves to blame.

Just like your team's "comprehensive proposal," we are similarly underwhelmed by your various post as your disdain for pilots is obvious. For a management plant, you're not very impressive.

That's funny. He is not nearly as good looking as Glass. Sorry RTE66.

I'm sorry, who side are you on man?

Are you an AA/US pilot???? If so that is a sad statement to make.

Let me see if I can translate some route66 for you, with out stealing his thunder.

Pilots are their own worst enemies. We tend to over estimate our career and value while underestimating and undercutting our fellow pilots. We look out after ourselves, so when we are in an association, we don't do well.

The AA pilots signed on to this MOU. They agreed to the cost neutral arbitration. Now they are shocked at Paker/Kirby/Glass? Why? They have shown over and over how they operate. Did the APA even talk to any east or west US pilots? It seemed to me that the attitude was "You guys are so screwed up, we've got this."
