Anyone know how fast the company moved with the F/As? They seemed to really move along on their negotiations. I wonder why they are dragging their feet on our side. Hell they added another $13 mil to their contract just for asking nicely.
Also when do the 3 different contracts go away and into one operating system? I thought that was what the MOU provided for but maybe I am misunderstanding the process here.

Looks like the APFA membership rejected their contract TA, by a very slim margin.
Any bets on whether the company will make a third attempt to swing that slim margin, or just push it to arbitration? Either way, the next couple weeks will prove to be very interesting around here.

We can hope that maybe the company will be realistic with us and present a contract we'd find acceptable to avoid both labor groups being upset and in arbitration.
But the realistic outcome is management will shrug and be perfectly fine with saving a few $$ with cost-neutral arbitration (the FA's arbitration isn't cost-neutral I don't believe, but I don't think they'll gain anything either) at the expense of some irritated employees.

What was their reasoning? The arbitrated one will have less value. The value of that contract was more than DAL and UAL, what more do they want? Unbelievable.
I can't imagine the company would sweeten the pot any more, they already went above and beyond.
Companies can be vindictive when their perceived charity is rejected. Look at what SWA did to the AirTran folks. AAG is crucifying Eagle for their rejection of pay caps. I'm just mystified is all...
