I really don't have a handle on FA contracts to tell you if it was a "good" contract or not, just that it's better than UAL and DAL, by a fairly wide margin. So regardless of how bad this one is, won't the arbitrated one be worse?
How much worse is it than the current contract? Is the current contract better in other ways? I'm asking because quite frankly all I've heard about it from our FA friends is about the medical.

Are you sure about that? Doesn't really make sense, especially because a majority of US voted in favor and AA against?

and read all about it.
They are going to get less than they would have gotten in arbitration. Boy that arbitration stuff sure works GREAT.....FOR THE COMPANY.

If all of you want to educate yourselves on the Flight Attendant T/A and what it means for the pilots simply go to https://apfa.org/images/TA/comparison-chart.pdf
and read all about it.

These FAs are idiots. They will not get this good of a package in arbitration.

Not a surprising statement coming from someone who isn't a pilot.
***WARNING***
Folks, beware what has now started to occur - certain representatives of managements interests have begun to position themselves on this forum to influence AA pilots on a potential upcoming TA vote (should it come to that). Union busting and pilot manipulation tactics are part of the strategy.

Do F/As have to worry about negotiating scope or is that purely a pilot thing? I haven't read thru the entire contract they were presented with but wonder if pilots are the only group that is responsible for essentially keeping the flying here on property.
It seems we have to bear a large burden of negotiating capital to ensure everyone else remains employed as well.
On a side note, since the F/As didn't want the extra $$ Doug & CO offered, we should ask for it to be applied to our contract

On the pilot side new hires at AA don't receive the 401k contribution until year 2 compared to new hires at Airways who get it for the start. Jacked up as well! These kind of issues need to be worked out
