But do you really think flying under Part 117 Rest and Duty Rules is as hard as the flying that ABX, Kalitta, WGA, Atlas and ATI perform?

It is not as difficult, it is the same. All of these companies for the most part do the same thing. Similar equipment, contracts, flying, schedules and even majority of the same destinations. The only differences are contents in the cabin and somewhat different duty rules. If one was to debate one way or another there are a lot of pros and cons, but all of these ACMI outfits are really not that much different. To suggest that any of them deserve better than any other is misplaced and inaccurate.

Some AMCIs are tremendously different than others. If a TA isn't presented to the pilots after this upcoming session it seems like an overwhelming majority will be willing to start an upheaval. Since 1224 ties the hands of people with what they can do I wonder if contacting the NMB as a collective can get the wheels in motion.
In any case K4 getting away might have just been the start of things to come for 1224.

That being said we all know that asking for DAL/FedEx pay would be nice, but it is highly unlikely any of us would get it. We also have proposed benefits in other areas which exceed DAL (probably not FedEx though). our 12 year Captains would exceed "base" DAL pay under the new contract, at least initially.
As I said, once the truth comes out, which it will, K4 may have just been the start.

Delta 777 12 year CA rate is $330 plus $6.50 International Pay
330x65x12=$257,400 plus 300x6.50 = 259,350 plus 16% DC = $300,846 base pay.
Omni 777 proposed 12 CA rate $262
262x64x12=$201,216 plus max 10,000 401K = 211,216
In what world is $211,216 more than $300,846? Add in PS and work rules and the Delta pilot is $175K-$225K ahead of a Omni pilot based on the companies proposed work rules and rate. Are you worth more than 50% of a Delta pilot?

I don't really care if I'm worth 50% or more of what a Delta pilot is worth. What I do know is that I am worth working under the number Omni is proposing. If you feel you're worth more or you feel you need more then by all means go to Delta. What I do know is it's not worth stalling this thing into next year to get us out of the gutter. The next few days should yield an answer.
Oh, by the way, which work rule at Delta let's me not worry about commuting?
