I would suggest to go ahead and interview, get hired, and assigned a class date before deciding against eliminating the job based on your "home base" airport. If you are 2 hours from Tallahassee, FL (TLH) then you meet the company requirement and are "good to go".
So, if say Dothan, AL (DHN) ??? has flights that are comparable in price to TLH, then you stand a good chance of being able to use / depart from the DHN airport... but you would need to constantly remind the scheduling and travel departments of your preference.
The Travel Dept. loves to save money, and in a pinch, the Scheduling Dept. loves to have options to salvage a delayed or uncovered (last minute sick call) assignment. Therefore, occasionally you can use your location as a benefit to the company by being closer to DHN than TLH for commercial travel... like when you are at home on short call (SC) reserve and the company needs to travel you immediately.
Good luck...

They haven’t announced any First Officer Job application window dates for 2019. Just have your resume ready. Last year it was open from 10/1-10/10, and 12/1-12/7.

Thanks GraceMonth I’ve set up the email notifications through the Co. website. And keep checking (daily) a few times a week.

Mid Feb at the earliest. Recruiting team will be at OBAP, WAI, NGPA and FAPA this year. Running about 2.5 months from interview to class date right now.

Hi all...11 yr RJ capt here who is beginning to chomp at the bit to move on. I'm pretty centrally located, 15 mins from CVG.
When bidding for the 18 days per month, could you do 3-4 day trips, or are you typically gone longer?

Someone else can chime in but you shouldn't expect 3-4 day trips in the ACMI world. You may have one big block of days or have it broken up 2-3 times in a month but this is not airline flying.

All schedules, that I’m aware of, are 16+2 on. There are no 3 or 4 day trips.
