Thread bump. Has anybody at Omni left the company with a 777 type rating to fly for another carrier flying 777's?

Not to my knowledge. I almost did but it was with a ME carrier.

There are two who have left, One is a Captain at Qatar the other in not sure. 777 is a pretty tight knit senior group at Omni not many leave from my observations but, I've been wrong many times before.

Qatar guy never flew the 777 at Omni. Not sure who the other dude you are speaking of.

yes new biz (good info but
nothing official yet ) and for retired Captains and for the new regs

APC Profile here says that Omni has guys furloughed and not hiring. Is this info out of date?

If someone hires on with a B767/757 type and 1300hr (non-PIC), is there still a training bond?

I'm sure that Omni had to pick up some of the AMC flying that World was doing. We had 2 MD-11's flying that alone.
