There is a fair bit of semi-informed speculation and reading between the lines that the publicly stated "hiring for attrition" is fully expected to be surpassed by a meaningful amount, likely by resuming Classes in the fall. Any number that gets banned about here is speculation, but many informed/tuned-in folks believe it could yet be north of 1000 this year. We won't know more than that until probably after summer. They company is keeping its 'hiring cards' close to their chest.

I’ve also noticed a big uptick after January 1st of people getting the assessment. Surprisingly high number of RJ FOs even. Probably a good sign.

I think he means that the wheels are beginning to turn again. Regionals have been hiring for a while in prep for the majors hiring more. Agree that the job is yours to lose once DAL asks you for the AON and the interview.

Speaking of the Aon, I’m surprised how little info I can find about it here on APC. Maybe I don’t know how to search/filter very well. I signed up for pilotassessments.com but it seems kinda hokey. What do you folks recommend for Aon prep? My deadline is Thursday.
Thanks!
Thanks!
To FANGS point once you get that the job is yours to lose. They want you to succeed. Got the CJO. Start next month.

I took the AON back in Sept. I used RST and pilot assessment prep. To be honest I thought RST was more challenging and more accurately reflected the actual AON. Pilot assessment is in my opinion good enough though. I know several guys that just used that and passed. The AON gives no feedback. It’s pass/fail. No idea if you crushed it or just barely scraped by. Also don’t over think the personality section.
