After getting the invite to interview I have elected to convert my spreadsheet logbook to Log 10 Pro. I'm finding I have some very minor hour differences (less than 5 hours on just a couple of flight times) and some time I didn't know I had. Has anyone run into this before and had to explain it in the interview? I have checked and cross-checked all of my 4500 hours of flight time as best as I can. I'm just hoping the fact it may be slightly off doesn't turn into a grilling session. I think it is mostly due to rounding. Looking forward to the interview! I'm hoping these don't constitute "significant changes". The only significant change that will be happening is I'll have upgraded to Captain at my current regional when I go to the interview.

Most of the west coast people hung around as we'd get home late Friday night and have to be on a noon flight back Sunday since you need a backup available and it can't be a red eye. A few watched football in the 'Delta lounge' the hotel set aside for us. Some had friends in the area to see. Others knocked out the lessons on their tablets. Had a few that had their primary flights canceled/delayed and were stressing on getting back on time. Benefit of staying is getting work done and no stress commute.

Just remember, on probation there is no union protection. Of course Delta wants you, but if circumstances arise that preclude you from being back on time, that could prove to be very stressful. Expect mgt to ask, " You are in your first week and have no-showed at "trip", explain to me why you want to be a Delta pilot".
If unfortunately you are fired, prolly tough to explain it away at your future career....not impossible, but ATL-West coast...not worth the squeeze IMO
Welcome aboard..enjoy the ride!

I do agree the ATL-West commute, is not worth it with less than 72hrs off.

I'll defer to you, that was not my understanding. Course that was decades ago for me. When my kids got hired, that was my advise to them.

You are likely going to get your app checked by someone. They can guide you through how to put it on there. I had a good experience with checked and set, but I hear the quality can vary. Still I recommend them.

Just follow the rules, the PWA and the common sense and the possibilities of being fired are very slim.

I’m not a fighter bro, but I’m a fixed wing HC-130 rescue bro. I fall under ACC as well, (we don’t build time like AMC) and I’m low time compared to airline guys. Does Delta take low military flight time into consideration?
