probably reasonably fast. Delta is just slow to hire from 9E because they aren’t actually adding a pilot to their system - they’re just moving a pilot from a hard position to fill to an easy position to fill

Just adding another timeline to the thread.
Received a fix-it email a few days after an app update. Top Tier on May 19, assessment on May 27. Was out town for the holiday weekend, but I took the assessment yesterday. I had an invitation for an interview in my email this morning by the time I checked it. Looks like interview dates are currently into the second week of July. Would have liked something a little bit sooner but nothing wrong with extra time to prepare.
I used pilotassessmentprep.com to practice for the assessment, and it seemed to replicate the games accurately.
Hope this helps someone.

Hiring Timeline
Below my timeline, if it can help,
*airline app submitted end of March
*attended TPNx Orlando in April -> few days after the event it triggered AON assessment
*end of April took the assessment ->next morning invite to Delta interview
*end of may Delta interview -> CJO received
I highly recommend to attend aviation networking events - if you have Delta mins they will send you the invite to the assessment right after. Also, I highly recommend to use a prep service to review your app and get you ready for the interview. Preparation is key and it will help you show your best self !

Yea, I put "One time total. I was offered the AON online assessment for Delta on XX Date and did not pass." Didn't get any questions or comments about it in the interview.

Excellent data point that should help a lot of prospective hires collective knowledge. Thanks for sharing to the masses.

If you call their interview number (I think it was provided in the e-mail), you can ask to be put on a list if they have someone cancel/reschedule. I did this and they were super friendly and helpful about the situation. Put me on the list, and called me back 30' later to say that a spot opened up 2 weeks earlier and booked my new flight by the end of the day. However, the time to prepare/get documents organized does help if you haven't started on it already.
