I just wanted to return to this subject just in case someone else finds themselves in familiar territory. I got the CJO overall extremely pleasant experience. They didn’t even bring it up, in fact they didn’t even bring up any negative aspect of my app (tickets and what not). At the end I told them about it and they laughed and said they would have brought it up if they wanted to talk about it. Can’t wait to start wearing the hat!

Pilot Review Board
Hi all,
anyone have any information on the PARB process as of 2026? Interviewed this week and got the PARB email that night. Wondering how high the pass rate is, how long it’s taking to hear back. Basically just how worried should I be? If I get through the PARB does it delay my class date compared to others who interviewed same day as me? Thanks! |

Not 2026, but I was the last hire class of 25 and got the PARB email before I was on the bus after the interview. I think it depends on what triggered it but it's well over 90% pass rate I believe. Just a waiting game at this point, the PARB meets once per month. From asking around I think they just double check for any show stoppers in your app (criminal record/DUI/anything weird in your background check that could relate to mental health). Congrats on the CJO and welcome to Delta.

The wait can be stressful, I but was told by other Delta pilots that it has a pretty high success rate. Keep being positive and I’m sure you will be good to go soon! Congrats! |

Whatever they’re looking for PARB/shrink it doesn’t work.
I personally know wonderful, exceptional people and pilots that have been chopped, and plenty of people that make you wonder how they ever got hired here and made it through the process sitting next to me. |
