My only caution is they can (and do) no-opp trips assigned by YS or reserve assignment. Then you’re back on LC and might be hard-pressed to be in position for a subsequent assignment. Why? Where is this written? I could be two hours from EWR and comply with the PWA. Or I could be two hours from JFK and comply with the PWA.

Currently as I am sure you know the company completely ignores signing in by report time as long as you depart on time. They are also pretty easy going on the 12 hour long call. Do we really want a airline where both sides hold everyone accountable to a strict reading of report and reserve rules. I prefer the reasonable man system we currently use.

This is a wholly incorrect interpretation of the contract.
