I’m not aware of any.

Release is still 30 minutes after block in.

Had that happen to me too, only an early sign in. Scheduling said they can’t remove it since it’s a training trip. ACE report filed.

Call the duty pilot and ask to speak to the scheduling rep at the OCC. Training has zero to do with trip assignments.

I bid reserve and it popped up on my schedule 4 days in advance so it had to be OE/training that assigned it. It certainly wasn’t a regular reserve callout. Hopefully ACE sorts it out, but duty pilot isn’t a bad idea if it happens again. Definitely seemed a PWA violation.

Spoke to duty pilot and scheduling and got nowhere. They insist it’s fine through 0200. Training scheduling obviously not gonna help on a weekend.

Will fire up the ACE app(again.)

Pretty sure that’s garbage. 0200 has to do with another day of ADG. Otherwise, being scheduled into X days is completely based on midnight. Step 22 in the outside of 12 hours ladder. There’s no carve out for line checks that I’m aware of.

Only case that I can think of that this is kosher would be if this is OE, in which case they own you no matter what you bid.

They are 100% wrong. As Iceberg said, 0200 ONLY deals with ADG calculations.

Call back and speak with a different scheduler, then a different supervisor. Also, I would FCR that when it’s all done, and give the day/time of Duty Pilot and scheduler for accountability. They need formal correction.

Also, calling with the PWA reference helps, but is no guarantee that will change their mind.

If it’s OE, I agree, pretty sure they own you, they would/should owe you a payback day.
