i agree...in this new era we live in where everyone is an amateur video journalist, no need to be a target...most guys I know or fly with put on the pullover.

In fact a few years ago one of our uniformed DH crewmembers was sitting next to a young woman who tried desperately to engage in
controversial political trigger issues. He felt she was trying to build a Twitter story that could be sent to the company and in return the company might give her miles or some kind of freebie. He was as cool as a cucumber but that was his last time traveling in uniform!

A pullover takes 2 minutes to take out of your nav bag and put on, it’s worth the protection.
Even the United Instagram hero wears a pullover on DHs. He’s made videos chronicling his pain that people don’t know he’s a pilot, so the pullover disguise must work. OOFFF HIS MEDS obviously loves ‘flexing’ in the terminal. My guess grocery shopping in uniform is also on your to do list.

Does the annoying know it all that sits next to you, won't stop talking, and does not get the hint when you put your earbuds in ring a bell?

Lmfao I’ve never been robbed but I still take care not to flash money around in sketchy areas.

Lmfao I’ve never been murdered in my bed but I still lock my doors at night.

All it takes is once.

But maybe you have ultimate faith in your $800 shoes that you can just run away if something goes wrong.
i guess I have ultimate faith in my own public behavior, like someone with an ounce of personal responsibility and self-awareness. What do you do on deadheads that you could possibly need protection from if filmed surreptitiously?

Oh come on, you can't be this naive. There are plenty of pilots who lack social awareness in our ranks. I think it's very good that they are afraid of the public and try to disguise themselves.

The person who posted that on Twitter filmed the exact same thing, AND posted it on social media.
If you're a Delta employee, get on DeltaNet, search for the Elevate bulletin. Your answer is there. His days at Delta are over.

Wow folks are so scared of their own actions they are afraid of commuting in Uniform? I commute in uniform regularly because it just makes things easier, especially when you get randomed at KCM

Thats not why and you know it. You just don’t want to admit it. Just be honest, you love the attention and everyone knowing you're a pilot. And now with a 4th stripe.I bet you also display your ID out of uniform while in the airport.

I’ve commuted in and out of uniform. 100% hands down out of uniform is much more relaxing. Only down side is the FAs don’t offer me a tiny bottle of water when I get on the plane.

Wow congratulations, we’ll make sure they put a star with your name on the board in the ATL crew room.
