Horrible.. again the heavy lifting like always is up to us. Interesting they put a cap on their snap up. AA can't afford to compete with higher rates.

Reserve Premium if called before 10am
WTF is up with AA and UA both surrendering the 1000 reserve day 1 protection???? Commuting to reserve just would be incredibly painful, as if it’s not bad enough.

P.S. the pay, non-retro “retro” would easily fail here. This is a terrible development for us if accurate.

If you have $150k in sick bank, you get to take it with you???? What does this mean?

OK once less than a year from the amenable date. Guys here are expecting huge raises during covid with gov't support and 3 years of retro is completely unrealistic. We will get slightly more than AA....We have to move forward at some point. Hell, i want a 50% raise but that ain't happening. United will come next with something similar to AA. Our hands will be mostly tied by the NMB to be in the zone. NO administration regardless of color will let us strike.

yep. I cant figure out what is going on with these other pilot groups. the snippet you posted is what i've seen going around and is nowhere close to being in the same ballpark as anything our pilots would accept.

i've said it a million times. retro is for the contract we should have had. If the company had negotiated in good faith we would have had a contact BEFORE covid. It's completely irrelevant to the PSP money because we would have gotten those rates anyways.

Explain to me how the NMB decides what I will vote yes to?

Ok, but you insinuated it had not ever happened. And not only has it happened, at a large %, but to my knowledge it has never NOT happened.

we cannot incentivize the company to drag their feet in the hopes of reaping a benefit from that. If we settle for anything less than Retro to the amendable date, we have set a precedent we will regret.

As a profession I think we need to recognize that managements at the Big 4, either collaboratively or not, are trying see just what they can get away with. We have more leverage now than I've ever seen in my career. No company has ever been destroyed or saved because of pilot pay. Let's try and remember that.
