so, by that logic, i should not be allowed to use the kaiser health plan option since not all pilots can benefit from it

if your state funds it you can do whatever you want. Pilots in other bases have no obligation to fund superior benefits in your base if that cost comes from their PWA cost.

the state doesn’t fund it, it’s private insurance

so should i be denied this option since georgia residents can’t enroll?

What one gets we all get when it comes to our CBA. On that I’m a single issue voter at contract time.
sounds like you should be advocating for your base’s laws to change to mirror those of the bases you want to copy.

if we had a pilot base in AMS, would you say ALPA needed to negotiate for their style/level of healthcare? Or that we match their level of legally required vacation?

don’t some pilots get more paid parental leave than others?

A government is free to tax spend and fund anything to its hearts content.
If a base in AMS used the free magical universal health care their taxes pay for then great. If a base in AMS said every pilot can use 240-270 hours of company funded ALPA negotiated sick time to play hookie on good weather days with no note then we should all get that.

im definitely for negotiating sick time applying to kin care, but the way it’s being presented here is kinda laughable
You are the one saying it's "significant negotiating capital". I would strongly disagree with that characterization.

Again, UA (apparently) already has this. This isn't novel. In the big scheme, this is an incredibly small cost to the company, allowing us to use some of our already-allocated sick benefit for our family.

Classic. Strawman.

Has nothing to do with what is actually being discussed.
