Are we still doing the girls in trench coats thing?

Anyway, caught this while flipping channels ... it had the wife and I running for the old Steinway in the living room ... I'm digging this girl's voice lately. But she'll probably never catch on in the image obscessed US market.

As the Captain of smooth, I have to tip my hat in the general direction of late 70's Yacht Rock stars.

Never been on the ALPA board, have you?

(but, I agree with your premise)

Who knew the internet ended in Canada?

I mean, we suspected something got a little strange just north of Bloomington ... but who knew?

Being a moderator does not exclude one from conversation. Moderators are allowed to participate in debates, discussions, etc so long as they abide by the TOS just like everyone else. If you feel a moderator has violated the TOS, then we at APC ask that you report the post. :)

Wow, this tool is lucky that car came along and saved him, he wasn't going to make the runway, and his wife would have his first (self inflicted) crash landing on film!

Now he can blame it on the car! But now he's too traumatized to continue flying... I smell a lawsuit! :D Do you have any idea of all the unrealized earnings he's due, I mean, heck, he could have been an instructor, or regional pilot soon, and you KNOW how much they make!...but he's to shaken to fly.

Cha-Ching! I hope the tool in the car has good insurance too!

Last flowups from Compass have late 2010 hire dates. No flows since then, though they've been periodically rumored.

Hey Mods - would I be correct in my assumption that on this thread you're more participant than moderator, and non-participant moderators are the ones that keep our fragile house of cards in order? Or are you really exercising obvious authority to control the direction of the conversation to suit your needs?

That's correct. There are no restrictions from sharing opinions.

If you abuse the authority and use your power (ha!) to control the conversation, then that is way out of bounds. I haven't seen anyone do that, but if it does happen it should be reported. Same with going out of bounds of the TOS.

There are no mods that don't participate in the conversation.

Latest from Mgmt is no hiring until 2014.

Flows only come when there is active hiring. No new bodies since 2010 in any way you try to twist it.

Then again, I'm coming up on 6 years and people still call me a newhire...

Any source for that? Everything I've heard is "about a year from now." (why is the next bid always the big bid and hiring always next year?)
