Look, you were the one that wanted to parse words over "~6 months" and "low 200s." I'm not sure why that got all up into your craw so bad.

Your numbers for jan, feb and march are different than that of crew resources, so I'm not sure where you're getting your data. If you're looking at ALPA, their documents are up to a month and a half prior to the claimed date of category list. There is a 7 pilot increase of pilots out on MIL going into March. My point was simply that it is stabilizing and will find a new normal. It will not continue to go down to zero.

Let's see what the MAR update shows tomorrow for that and the projection for APR.

Just counting from the category list man. And I don't really care what the numbers are today versus tomorrow. You know as well as I do we went from ~350 out to ~200 out. If that's the new norm, great, but don't act like this is something to split hairs over.

Where'd you find the 7 pilot bump? For March I see 9/198. For February I see 9/192. That's only 6. Learn to count ;)

I heard about the LGA slot swap thing a year and a half before it actually transpired. These things do take a while... if ever.

I'm choosing to believe that it will happen. :) I do love me some whales.

Of course we went from 350ish to 200ish. Where did I say otherwise? Who's splitting hairs here? I was just giving a rounded number and you went all crazygonuts on 244 back in october (which was counted long before october)... Chill out. It's going to stabilize as it will not go down to zero.

My numbers are straight from crew resources. March will be updated again tomorrow. The ALPA numbers vary as they are counted at different times.

I'm not quoting your post, ftb. Oh. My. Eyes.

You're gonna have to really make up for that party foul, sir.

Return w/out "new-hires"

It will be interesting how many furloughees do come back.

Does anybody think there will be recall-only classes offered at the same rate of the previous steady stream of returning mil leave pilots; before there are interviews for flow-through pilots; before there are off-the-steet-new-hire pilots?

I would guess that at 10-15/month, all bypass-furlough would be back in time for dec2013 interviews.
