I would agree history has proven your point on scope. However I sense a change is blowing in the wind with the interest in LEC 44 positions and the strength of fNWA unionists. You are essentially leveraging your position and pay with the agreement of a flow through agreement. I concur we need your agreement for a flow through agreement but are you willing to risk it all on pay?? I see your on avatar you're 200 Captain. With the way Ma Delta is cutting 50 seat jets, do you really have such a secure position to remain steadfast in your leveraging ability?

It is a mistake to think that just because someone has 1000 PIC in the RJ he/she should be moved(deserves/entitled to/just as good as others) up to the majors. Given a chance to interview on percentage basis of total qualified applicants - another story. |

My main question to you was in regards to the red portion above. How do you get stapled, but protect "your" seats and have access to "our" seats as your seniority allows? In my mind either you forgo the right to bid into any equipment larger than what you currently operate and in return you cannot be bumped down your list. Or you take your chances with being temporarily bumped down, (or maybe up depending on what type of flying you like), in return for the right to bid anything in the system as your DAL seniority allows. |

How will you hold up with DAL continuing to outsource to the lowest cost providers? Your biggest threat is the Mesas, Colgans, and Go Jets of the world. Now's your big chance to take ALL scope back in house. Sounds like you guys have a lot more to gain than we have to lose. |

The biggest sticking point I can see is , as ACL65 mentioned, it will be hard to integrate the DCIs. ASA will probably have to take a pay cut to get a DCI average pay rate. |
