COMPLETELY INCORRECT!
The average DAL pilot does NOT fly 92 hours. The average DAL pilot is PAID 87 hours per month (including vacation/GS/IA/WS/swap).

Reserve pilots at DAL average 75:30, but every month of training and vacation will increase their pay above ALV (roughly 5-6 months per year).

Please stop the crazy.

There are only a few designated pilots who are paid the average +5 hours (which additionally does not come out of our dues) because they work more days per month than average pilots and are UNABLE to pick up any premium flying even if they wanted.

I'd be appreciated if APC DAL posters would refrain from inventing/repeating inaccuracies.

You guys realize this isn't something new, pretty sure "swap with the pot " was from before the NWA merger and most likely been in effect for a long time.

Neither swap with the pot nor swap with friends (or PU) is limited by ALV +15. You're only limited by the FARs (and your seniority:eek:).

That's what I meant when I said to Timbo that it wasn't a new game. There are several of guys who bid for the 2 day LA turns and then swap them for a 3 day 30 hr DXB or NRT. You have to be pretty senior to be successful with it.

It is a pick up limit only. Been this way for a long time. Took my 9 years to figure it out.

I'm thinking a new vacuum for the wife, and of course new dish towels?

She's hoping for an AR15 and a Zombie machete, I'm pretty sure.

There's nothing that says I love you more than buying the wife a good 80 gallon air compressor or scag turf tiger.:D

Huh.. well you learn something new everyday. I always figured PS was subject to the same PW limits.

Block hours and only block hours mean pilots jobs, AMIRITE? ;)

None of the above. Nexus 7. Fast processor, good speakers, and high resolution makes it an amazing tablet. Plus, it starts at $229 for the 16 GB version.

BA 744 into a building in JNB.

This is what I always think is about to happen with that fence on the southeast ramp in DTW.
