There were contractual limitations, maybe some of the victims of "Force Manure" can enlighten us. I just flew with a 2001 hire yesterday.
First 400 went out Nov 1, 2001.

I think you are correct. I am not at home to reference the contracts.

Thanks, Jay, I wasn't sure when they started. There was a couple of Trump Shuttle/USAir captains in my crash pad as well who ended up being furloughed as well. That was a real eye opener. It's what spurred me to start looking at a plan B.

[QUOTE=sailingfun;1582712]I think you are correct. I am not at home to reference the contracts. 96 however just reinforces what I am saying.

That's what I was getting to, if the furloughs were from 2000-2001 DOHs then they didn't even get to vote on a contract prior to their furlough.

Yeah, I bet most pre-911 hires here can remember when they started really looking into plan B. My very concerted efforts started with the USAir attempted takeover.

Okay. Just took a trip to the basement and found my 146 stuff from 1995. It was there, under a 300 lb. black Acer desktop which I'm saving for the future.
We had six leased 88 passenger jets. Never were these aircraft configured with 69 seats.
Service was to AVL, MCN, MYR, PAN, CSG, and TRI. At .63 Mach.

The B scale was for years 2 through 5. It came in to existence in the 86 contract. Pay was 60 percent of the A scale. In the 91 contract the B scale was changed to years 2 and 3 only at 80 percent of the A scale. This sadly however was not retroactive to the amendable date. I don't know exactly when years 2 and 3 went back to full pay however it was after the pay agreement on the 737-800. I voted against that agreement because it still contained the b scale on years 2 and 3.

Did he stay at ComAir until the end? Just curious how post "RJDC attempted seniority grab" and "screw-you furloughees" played out for him?
