I didn't even realize sinca3 had only posted a select number of positions. Even the North gets to rise again... Great news for the North and South folks, but.......................... All quiet on the Western Front. Hey guys what about LAX/SEA/SLC/MSP?? Scoop  |

That's exactly where it came from, but the credit DALPA got was only a mere fraction of the actual savings to DAL. You guys didn't get credit for the Endeavor pay cuts, the revenue boost from the 900's in NYC, and the future regional rate resets. DALPA left at least $500 million on the table. So while T2 is getting a 26% raise, he should be getting a 40%+ raise.

Quick time card question...
A day in training is worth how much? I'm showing 2:19? Hm....

Pay their hotels and give them positive space and they would be beating down the doors. Lot's of highly experienced former whale instructors choosing to fly the line because of those 2 items..
All for spending 17 nights/month in a crashpad and losing per diem (and actually having to talk for 6 hours straight.) And committing to this for 5-7 years. I've done the math, it isn't worth it for a commuter. |

Ok, a guy on his 3rd GS today in my category. Wow. #3GS making it down to like 10,500, and I saw a guy in the 11000's on GS#2. I'm hacking up mucous, so I can't play, but someone is going to get some nice GSs this weekend!
And I just got my very first. :D |

Unless you live in ATL (and want to be home every night) the SLI gig is a massive QOL hit. Yes, you make whatever you can hold (and might get a pay raise if you can't get a higher paying seat through an AE) but you can very easily take an immediate pay cut if you can no longer hold that seat (not seeing any displacements on the horizon but you never know.)

No, it's that I took a 30% pay cut from C12K, and it would be nice to know that that money went to other pilots wouldn't it? Instead, DALPA gave it to the company, that is a legitimate *****, is it not?
ummmmmm what? |
