How DARE they make money!!:rolleyes:

(After how many years of losing how many Billions??)

Stand by for more of that, as soon as the Q2 earnings are announced. I expect they will want the industry re-regulated, so they can still buy $199 tickets.

Funny, I never hear the talking heads talking about BP making $10 Billion per quarter, even after dumping a zillion gallons of crude into the gulf. Watch their earnings skyrocket now, with the Iraq thing driving oil prices up.

But you won't hear the morons on TV crying to regulate that industry.

Apple gouges. They love Apple because the previous CEO was cool.

That'll be pretty tough.

Lots of clowns before you have set that bar pretty high! :D

I think a whole bunch of other guys have figured that out, thus the company wants to crack down on sick calls, which I think will only increase as summer goes on.

Well that makes me sick.

Hey i never paid attention to this before but when you travel international, say SEA, and you come through customs do you get your checked bags back and then recheck them in for your next leg?

Just an observation, and wondering if anyone can chime in. I've been on the 7ERB out of LAX for a couple of years, and I've never seen reserve coverage so bad! Wanted to move a few days around, but there's not a single blue day in the month of July, and in fact, the reserve required vs available is way under water for every day of the month. It was the same in June. By contrast, ATL has 15 blue days, SEA-19, MSP-24,(but NYC only 4.)
What does the 4th floor have against us west coast guys?
Maybe I'm just imagining a bias!

Until recently, the 7ER-A in NY had this same issue. In C15, I propose that all regional domiciles be counted toward the reserve availability count. iow, for you, the LA/SEA/SLC bases should count which would then allow regular lineholders to drop trips and reserves to move days. For the east coast, ATL/NY/DTW.. and for the categories that apply, CVG. MSP is kins of an outlier, but that would fit in somewhere. After all, the company has the luxury to send a reserve from SLC to LA (for example) to cover a trip with no penalty. Why should we be penalized when it is the company that determines manning? Kind of like the whole LBP thingy (which I will not get into here.... You're welcome.)

BP has to find the oil, drill for the oil, (Sometimes in hostile countries like Nigeria, Sudan or Iraq) pump the oil, transport the oil to the refinery where it is refined into various products, transport it to various outlets, and they then make a whopping $.03/gallon profit on each gallon. The federal gubbamint doesn't do a ****ing thing to bring that oil to you, the consumer, and they rake in $.40/gallon. Who is gouging who again?

Oh, and thanks for the investment idea. I'll take a look at BP and XON again this afternoon. :)

Love ya man... ya know I mean it.

I am still hopeful that he is actually doing some research and that he will come on here and explain in detail just why our contract sucks so bad, and whose is so much better that we should immediately call for the heads of all those that brought us this POS. I highly doubt that is the case, but one can hope. As far as I am concerned, until he does, he has zero credibility.

Heard recently from several independent unrelated sources that the company may reopen the Minneapolis training center in some capacity. Anyone else hear this?
