So based on this ae result, where are the leftover vacancies that will be shoveled to the new hires over the next few classes?

Got any tea leaves? Start spreading them out and look there....

Network has to give the Winter flying schedule to Crew Resources, then those guys have to look at the manning and training requirements in each fleet, then they will decide where to put newbs in the next A/E. Any guess today will be wrong tomorrow.

Well the new Surface 3 is now for sale, and Microsoft hates the Surface 2 so much they are offering $150 trade in towards buying a new Surface 3

Yeah I'm sorry. I'm just antsy to get to class. It can't come fast enough. It will be even more difficult to forecast once Delta opens their new top secret Austin/San Antonio base.

Interesting results. Was surprised to see so many SEA73NB guys bail from there to other places, LAX and SLC... I guess they were just getting anywhere west before, and now fine tuningp ;)

There is no freeze into a new category. I'm sure many of them bid SEA to get out of a freeze elsewhere. Once you are on an aircraft there is no restriction on bidding other bases. I know two guys who bid the 73 in SEA to get out of a freeze, and have already bid back to ATL.......having never spent a day in SEA. It's an effective strategy.

good grief, I hope not. Could you imagine the level analysis paralysis that would cause for mike16? :D

Nice play! I had never thought of using that angle before, great idea to get into an LAX/ATL 737 seat if you are locked, bid SEA and then bid out!

See, even us old farts can learn something from the pups!

Keep up the good work men, we are all counting on you! :D

That's where the old saying, "Bid what you want, want what you bid" comes into play.

You never know what the guys in Crew Resources are going to do.

And what ever you get, if it's not the 757, bid off, and bid the 757! :D (still my favorite)

Hey gents, great news on the latest AE. Ferd is a frikkin captain. Just wait til we get Scoop in the left seat out here!

As an aside, any good recs for financial planners in the SoCal area? I need some help to tighten up some things. Please shoot me at PM if you can refer or have experience with a good one. I've had a few that were marginal at best. Thanks in advance!!

I know this guy...hired on the second day of the hiring wave which started the latter part of 2013. He said it seemed far fetched but why not, especially if no one senior wanted it.
