I hate to say it, but I see this as a red/green thing being dragged back up. The younger red -747 guys were blockholders and the senior green guys were on the jet as reserve due to insuffent bidders. Well, bid period 5 happens, no more block/reserve and now the worm turns. I'm thinking those guys are looking at being block holders on the DTW777 vs reserve 747. Don't know, just a theory from the back row. Roberts...........the gift that keeps on giving:mad: |

And this already has traction. Arbitration begins in April. There won't likely be any grand slam home runs but there will be a bloop single, then a walk, then a stolen base (pun intended). etc. etc. Arbitrators like to mediate. They give each side a little something. They urge compromise. Drip, drip, drip. Your seniority rights erode. I think Super is correct. There is a small group of guys who live for this stuff. They will file a complaint every time the wind blows for the next 5 years. |
