Sounds like a bunch of guys LOOKING for a fight. Nice. I hope they are proud of themselves.

I hope not either, as we've discussed, there are lots of other shoes to drop (ie the 747-400 rumor) and I just see a big PIO starting.

I hate to say it, but I see this as a red/green thing being dragged back up. The younger red -747 guys were blockholders and the senior green guys were on the jet as reserve due to insuffent bidders. Well, bid period 5 happens, no more block/reserve and now the worm turns. I'm thinking those guys are looking at being block holders on the DTW777 vs reserve 747. Don't know, just a theory from the back row.

Roberts...........the gift that keeps on giving:mad:

The DAL-N guys are paying the same assessment.
And this already has traction. Arbitration begins in April.

There won't likely be any grand slam home runs but there will be a bloop single, then a walk, then a stolen base (pun intended). etc. etc.

Arbitrators like to mediate. They give each side a little something. They urge compromise.
Drip, drip, drip. Your seniority rights erode.

I think Super is correct. There is a small group of guys who live for this stuff.
They will file a complaint every time the wind blows for the next 5 years.

No.. not advocating anything like that at all... just saying that there is no reason to be in pain because of inefficient airports. Do what you can, but if it isn't enough, do what you must. I can guarantee you that everyone flying a desk has used that hold button for a physiological needs break.
