Will they positive space you if you deviate from a dh? I'm looking to do the same tomorrow, except it is at the end of a rotation. Thanks!
In short, the answer is yes. However, there are stipulations: 1)There must be revenue seats available at the time the reservation is made. 2)It must not route through your domicile. 3)It can't exceed the # of originally scheduled DH Legs. 4)The reservation cannot be made until AFTER you check in for your rotation. 5)Perhaps the biggest...It must be a MAINLINE Flight! I don't agree with the last one, & hope to have it changed. JMO. Anyway, it's all in Sec 23, but I think I covered just about everything. |
Thanks! I want to leave early to go DTW which is my domicile, so I would have to non rev then correct?

You can always deviate and get positive space back to your domicile. There just have to be seats available on the flight at the time of booking.
The jumpseat desk will take care of that for you. |

Actually I might be late to this one, I saw it at the bottom of Drudge. You know I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it might be a red flag when your husband-to-be is in a bitter custody battle with his 2nd wife who is a porn star.
Just imho. :D |

I have had a similar experience and I kept on pressing the 3rd shift person for the record locater for the dh, she had no idea what I was asking for. Told her to forget that I had ever called and took care of the dv8 with the morning shift and would not hang up without the record locator. I was the only one of 6 dh crewmembers on the flight that was actually listed and I got the best seat from the agent. :D
Just one of things that you learn not to do with out talking to the transportation company. |
Got a layover at home tomorrow night, and looking to cancel my hotel room. Do we just call Crew Accommodations for that? Looked it up in the FOM, and it says to use the cancellation function of the VRU, but I haven't found any such option on the flowchart of the VRU menu listings.

iCrew On-Line Jumpseat Booking Coming Soon-Beta Test Volunteers Needed

Beta-testing will take place from 0930 March 26 to 0930 March 31. We are soliciting volunteers to assist in validating the solution. Testing will be in a live environment - any bookings made will be real. If your schedule lends itself to booking in this timeframe and you would like to participate, please send an email request to {email address redacted, see Trim Tab week of 03.19.10}. We are looking for approximately 200 volunteers. Instructions will be provided. |
