I'll be sure not to hold my breath for phase 2.

Good plan because Phase 2 is "?"

Phase 3 is "Profit"

Now what was Phase 1 again? :D

What was that number of required new-hires again when the slot swap becomes real?

Cheers

The Air Force had tons of good movies, but most seem to be pre-1947 (Army Air Corps) but its been a lean few decades for the AF. The whole "Iron Eagle" franchise kind of killed the genre.

My favorite part of Broken Arrow was were they beat the crap out of each other while boxing a few hours prior to a mission. I guess a technical advisor was deemed unnecessary.

Scoop

Maybe because the Navy has a history of making history.

Are there any banana pilots left?[/QUOTE]

I think #2 is cut the headcount and pay of mainline pilots.

You've probably seen this before -- a humorous comparison from a pilot who flew in both services:

Navy or AirForce?

A lot of guys have been hired here in their mid 20's, right?

Top Gun is 26 years old. If you need proof, go look at Kelly McGillis (sp?).

Anyways, you may be flying with a guy sooner than later who was a product of Top Gun but never joined the Navy. :D

Yeah even I feel old with that idea.

Well, lets not forget the Naval blockbuster
