The other part of this rumor was the training for the new system and using tapes would be CD based. :D And no I'm not kidding. When I first heard about this new cockpit and 717 rumor in 2010 the word was the FAA would sign off on this if we went to training every 30 days. Of course that's not feasible... but maybe they got the FAA to allow cd training to qualify? :eek: |

Carl That's a good point. I did say that. Oh well. I was looking forward to a screen where I could actually see the nav display without leaning forward. And not just forward, but way forward. |
