So essentially, unless your regional sacrificed as much as those who are now at Delta, you have an entitlement issue. Dually noted.

If you believe you are entitled to anything, then you may have an issue.

Actually, it would be duly noted. Unless there's two of you.

That's funny! Drinking a Godfather cocktail (Glen Livet & Amaretto) & watching "Iron Chef" with my "pulchritudinous" lady. Had to LOL over the grammar nazi comment.

Since we are on the subject of entitlement; are you stuck in a particular base until an AE comes out. For example, let’s say you get NYC88 but want to be ATL88 and it takes 2 years for an AE, are you then stuck in NYC until an AE. Is AE the only type of bidding or is there more frequency in other bidding.

The only way to change position is via Advance entitlement/displacements. AE's even in slow times come at least twice a year... typically in slow times 3 times a year.

Now that the machine is starting to churn, we've already had 3 this year and there will be at least 1 or 2 more.

Thanks, another question.

What if you are assigned NYC88 in your new hire class but you want MSP88 and there is a new hire class the following month with MSP88 vacancies. Are you then stuck in NYC in this case until and AE comes out or can you switch based on seniority..

You're NYC based until an AE comes out where you can bid to MSP. Your initial assignment is your initial assignment. You exercise your seniority in that class, not on those coming after you except on later AEs.

I was NYC based on the 88 initially. While I was in class, a bid came out and I immediately held ATL (on the 767, but even with your fleet freeze now, you'll still be able to bid ATL on the 88). So I spent a whopping 2 months in NYC.
