Yeah I agree that is why NYC is so junior, but the fleet has people avoiding it much more than in 2007. In SLC we are 22 numbers from a 2014 hire holding the ER. The plug in LAX on the ER was hired 8 weeks ago. It's not just NYC. It has never been that junior out here. Nobody wants to bid it because they are afraid they will get booted off within a year or two and the flying stinks if you are junior. That's why I'm not bidding it.

The previously posted destinations for ER out of NYC was helpful. Anyone able to shed light on ER trips out of LAX?

Yes, The ER in NYC really sucks. Please don't bid it and let the 90 slots go to new hires. I'm really getting tired of going to SVO, IST, CDG, LAS, SFO, AMS and SMX all of the time.

Really? Never done one in 5 years. NYC gets very little HNL flying and what I have seen is out of LAX.

How you going to IST? I'm senior to you and I can't even hold it.

I made the mistake of putting in a blanket out of base green slip with no qualifiers. After waking up to phone calls in the wee hours of the night for JFK green slips that left ASAP I corrected my mistake. Maybe it was an aberration but I think a local could make a killing in NYC. For the right person 7ER NYC would be a great base. I'd consider moving there if it was five years ago.

WS & PS & pick up board. They do come up fairly regular. I did 6 IST trips while they were in season this year. Hope they come back in 2015. There were rumors that we are pulling out of IST but numerous people working in IST said it's coming back.
