Thanks! At present, do you know if the 737 relatively senior to the 717 or 320?

Not sure I am just a hopeful! I think that the most senior of the 3 is the 737 then 320, 717. 80ktsclamp will know.

I'm not 80ktsclamp, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but below is the 'plug' in each DTW category.

(Data: January Seniority List - 11593 pilots, February Category list.)

737 - 336 pilots junior - 97.10%

320 - 205 pilots junior - 98.23%

717 - 0 pilots junior - 100%

Disclaimer: Both DTW 717 & 737 categories are increasing in size, as more airframes arrive on property. Five year plan changes weekly, number subject to change.

Excellent thread for poolies like me. I'm a Dec 5 hire, so it looks like I will be mid-summer training based on MikefromMT's spreadsheet (did I get that right?). Also, I am unfamiliar with some of the terms: Plug, SSP, AE, etc. For example, the post above, what does "737 - 336 pilots junior - 97.10%" mean." It might be a stupid question, but I've got no 121 experience so I don't speak PWA (pilot working agreement?) or CBA (contract something something?) yet. Any definitions anywhere? I am a newbie, after all?

I'd be willing to bet that people are able to get into MSP and such sooner rather than later. Heck, before the displacements from the ER, SEA ER went wayyyyy junior.

I'm sure your right.

But, the only info available to us is the information I gave out. Anything else is pure speculation. So, as of today it appears that there are many pilots who are on the seniority list who would like to bid into MSP and have not been able to as of today. They could all remove their names from the MSP bid preference tomorrow and I would say MSP look's like it should be easy to get into.

CBA-Collective Bargaining Agreement=PWA-Pilot Working Agreement
AE-Advance Entitlement=Equipment and Bases available to bid (posted periodically by the Company)
Plug-Junior guy in a base and category
SSP-who knows! Has to do with flow ups.

Just keep asking!

Plug= bottom guy on any respective list.

SSP= "streamlined selection process" for pinnacle pilots in a seniority order. They do the full day 1 interview along with a review of their employment records. Current pass rate is a bit below 50% for that deal.

AE= advance entitlement. It's a bid with openings for various seats in bases. Say, 15 DTW 73N FOs, 12 ATL 777 CAs, and so on.

CBA= collective bargaining agreement. The contract.

Good luck!

You got it!

ATL 320, the bottom 50% considerably more senior than the bottom 50% of the 73N, but the senior side is more senior on the 73N. Funny how dynamic things can be.
